I remember all to well that dreadful day. I was in my office along with my staff and couldn't quite believe what we were hearing on the radio. Of course we were straight onto the web to try and find out more only to find that websites like the BBC were almost brought to their knees because everyone was trying to get access. As the events unfolded that day I just remember feeling totally numbed by this as it somehow felt so close to home even though it was the other side of the world. It wasn't until I got home that night and saw the film footage on the telly that I realised the true extent of this terrorist attack. Later that day my local church opened it's doors to many people just wanting someway to respond. It affected many people all over the world and will do so for a long time to come I suspect.
This was certainly an event that changed history and one which will stay with me for the rest of my life.
