This was my first festival (aged 18) and boy what a baptism of fire!
The arena was a complete mud bath and sadly I think it claimed a life on one night due to the person being drowned in it by pushing crowds.
I joined my girlfriend at the time who had been camping with cousins since the first day - I joined them on the second day to see Alex Harvey, Thin Lizzy, Dobbie Brothers etc. A thoroughly enjoyable weekend if a little wet!
