Genesis Wind and Wuthering Tour


This was the first (and best) time I saw Genesis and was totally blown away by how excellent they were and in particular the amazing drum duet between Phil Collins and Chester Thompson.
They did loads of great material from way back like Musical box up to the newer stuff at the time such as Afterglow (now a classic).
I went with my girlfriend at the time and a couple of friends. I remember we bought some of the luminous green tube bands (necklaces) that they use to sell at gigs in those days and towards the end of the night people were chucking them up in the air at the end of songs....an amazing show and fantastic evening.
