My First Concert Experience

Tangerine Dream at Fairfield Halls


This was my first ever concert and I only tagged along with the brother (Brett) and a couple of friends because I hadn't yet been to a concert (only just 16) and wanted to see what it was all about. I was very into other music at the time and had only heard snippets of this strange music before drifting through my brothers bedroom door. I was curious. Anyway it was good but I have to say in those days they just sat there with their backs to the audience and played for a couple of hours continuously. Only occasionally did they look at each other (maybe one of them plugged in a wrong patch lead!). It wasn't the greatest LIVE experience but none the less one I wont forget. Great mood music.
