Can't move for Death Knights

World of Warcraft - Wrath of the Lich King


I usually end up having to search all my local game stores in a desperate hope of finding the much coverted and particularly rare Collector's Edition (at least they seem rare in the UK).

I've been playing (in a casual sense) World of Warcraft for over 2 years now and still find it is holding my attention. I haven't even scratched the surface of the previous expansion yet, let alone started the Lich King expansion.

The whole game keeps going from strength to strength, graphically improvements and modifications are keeping the game up-to-date and fresh. I think the way that WoW manages to gain support, unlike the other MMORPGs out there, is due in part to the emense lore that has been created for the entire world/universe of Azeroth, every little detail is checked to ensure that it fits in correctly with the overall history, and that even continues in to the books (which are great, by the way).

With the release of the second expansion you can't move around the Eastern Plaguelands without bumping into dozens of Death Knights, probably because it's the starting area for the new Hero class and everyone who bought the expansion is desperate to unlock the new content.

As for the forth birthday of the game, Blizzard very kindly gave away an ingame pet as a gift to it's players.
