Genesis Wind and Wuthering TourBeing a Genesis fan of over 30 years I saw the Wind and Wuthering Tour at Earls Court London 1977 and it was the most amazing show I have seen EVER. They were a devasting live band unequalled. Old songs beautifully recreated by Phil incredibly emotive new songs and the best light and sound show bar none. For me and many other Genesis Fans of my age the heart was ripped out of the band when Steve left - probably the most under-rated guitarist ever, his ghostly pastoral guitar sound was never replaced check out firth of fifth on this show or ripples as an example of his understated fluid playing.
