What is mytimeinhistory.com?
mytimeinhistory.com is a global story book designed to let you add your personal stories relating to historial events and situations that have taken place during your lifetime. You can also add any claims to fame you might have (i.e - "I had diner with Nelson Mandela"). In additon you can sell and buy memorabilia connected with historical events, famous people etc.

How do I sign up?
Signing up is simple. Simply go to the sign up page and enter your details and submit them. We will then send an email to your email address with details of your login password. All information entered will only be used by mytimeinhistory and will not be passed on to any other parties unless agreed to by yourself.

Can I change my password to something more memorable?
Yes you can. Simply log into your account, go to my profile and select update profile and change the password using the Change Your Password form.

What is an event champion?
To become an event champion you need to recieve a certain amount of ranking points from other people that rank your stories. For example when you add your story to an event, people can then score your story with a score from 1 to 5 . When you accumulate enough points to achieve the event champion ranking then you are crowned an event champion.

What is an event?
An event is added by yourself or someone else in the mytimeinhistory community. It can be a concert, a sporting event, a solar ecplise or anything that is something that you believe deserves a mention in history.

What is a story?
A story is someones own tale about an event they were at, or a story of a personal achievement or activity. There can be an unlimited number of stories added to a single event (1 story per person).

What is a claim to fame?
It could be you have meet someone famous, appeared on TV, landed on the moon!. If so it's your claim to fame.

What is memorabilia?
These are items that are connected with some sort of event or famous person. It could be a pair of David Beckham's football boots, a Jimi Hendrix guitar, an original poster from Woodstock or an autographed program.

How do I buy memorabilia?
To purchase any memorabilia for sale on mytimeinhostory you should note contact the individual/user who is selling the item. Use the "Contact the seller" link on the memorabilia details page or use any contact information that the seller has added to the memorabilia listing.
