Manchester United clinched the English Premiership title with one game still to play. They had to win or draw against their old rivals Arsenal to win the title for the third year in a row. The final score was 0-0 which gave Sir Alex Ferguson the point he was looking for to clinch the title ahead of Liverpool the closest challengers.
It is the second time they have clinched the title for three consecutive years, the first being last 2001.
