New Year 2000 was the start of the new millenium and was celebrated around the globe with cheers, fireworks, champagne, parties etc. But it was not without its concerns. Would the Y2K bug hit, would planes fall from the sky, would all computers crash, was this to be the end of the world as predicted by some?
