Reports of a secret gig in London proved accurate as U2 played from the roof of the BBC's Broadcasting House, at the top end of Regent Street on the corner with Langham Place. Speakers and lights were set up during the day and U2 crew members sighted included Dallas Schoo and Joe O'Herlihy. Thousands of people gathered at the location, and the show began at 6:45pm UK time.
The set inculded: Get On Your Boots, Magnificent, Vertigo / Substitute (snippet), She Loves You (snippet) and Beautiful Day
