Lewis Hamilton became the youngest-ever Formula One world champion after a thrilling finish to the Brazilian Grand Prix in 2008.

The 23-year-old British driver only needed to finish fifth to secure the 2008 title ahead of Felipe Massa.

He managed to remain in the top-five for most of the race, but with the rain coming down on the final lap, Hamilton slipped into sixth place and race leader Massa looked to be on course to clinch the title.

The Ferrari garage were already celebrating what looked like a certain victory when Toyota's Timo Glock spun his car on the wet track with just two corners left in the race, allowing Hamilton to move into fifth place and win the championship.

What a finish!
