British Grand Prix 2008
Lewis Hamilton, McLaren Formula One driver, dominated his home race to take victory in a wet and wild British Grand Prix and storm back to the top of the driver's championship at Silverstone.
Hamilton, the first British winner at Silverstone since David Coulthard in 2000 and the first English winner since Johnny Herbert in 1995, lapped all but second placed Nick Heidfeld in a BMW Sauber and the Honda of Brazilian Rubens Barrichello who finished third.
