The 2008 Monaco Grand Prix was as entertaining as it was set up to be. The weather added to the strategies of the various teams and choices about which tyres to use and when played a big part in the success and failiures of the F1 teams. The race started with rain on the track and which meant wet tyres were used from the start but as the race ensued the weather and track dried up and tyres were changed to intermediates and dries. Lewis Hamilton who had always dreamed of immitating his hero Ayrton Senna (a Monaco champion on several occasions) fullfilled his dream by taking the chequered flag and his 2nd win of the season.
